I told Kathleen last week that I had gotten highlights done at the hairdresser. She had asked if she could have her hair highlighted as well - I suggested we may need to wait a few years because it costs a fair bit to get your hair highlight (and heck, I have only done it a few times in my life). [Actually, I think I have lowlights - no clue on the difference!]
Today at daycare, Kathleen's teacher told me that Kathleen had shared with the class at circle time that I 'bought my hair' at the hairdresser. Kathleen and Andrew's interpretation of our conversations sometimes truly amazes me. She wasn't incorrect but does she have to share everything!
Gotta love them!
