Today, was Andrew's second special day in kindie. Pretty much, one day each month, each little one has the opportunity to be the special person of the day, and bring snack for the class.
Last night, we were discussing with Andrew what he thought he should bring. He brought battery or 'big' Lady last month. Since his teacher has inferred he needs to expand his interest away from his train focus, we decided perhaps another train show n'share mightn't be appreciated. We suggested some of his Speedracer pull-back cars. His response - the girls wouldn't appreciate the Speedracers.
Makes you wonder, is he a sensitive intuitive child or has the impress the girl gene already kicking up its heels? It is a good question, though, with only four little girls in a class of 20, they must see a few too many boy toys in the kindie class.
He settled on this neat little wild cat Halloween decoration. I believe it went over well.

Ah, so Andrew's still really into trains, huh? Peter seems to finally being moving on. Granted, being Lego-obsessed probably isn't better, but different is nice for me. The boys get into arguments -- "Trains are my favorite and trucks are YOUR favorite!" "No, I love trucks AND trains." It gets ridiculous -- guys, you can both play with multiple kinds of toys.
