... but not exactly what you want flying over your parent's home. Last night, the big water bombers were making their runs from Lake Okanagan, over top of my parents' house to a forest fire further up the valley. Kelowna and area experienced a catastropic forest fire in 2003 and I am sure the big water bombers aren't the welcomed spectacle that the Snowbirds were a few days ago.
No news on the fire - it may have been very small, but one they dealt with aggressively to prevent any spread.
