I have a scene playing out in my living room that is just too funny. Kathleen and Andrew are playing Pirates of the Caribbean. Kathleen is Elizabeth (who she thought was named Sarah) and Andrew is Jack Sparrow, the dog. Not sure how he got switched to a dog, but Andrew is playing with gusto. Kathleen does govern the pretend play direction - it is a bit Jack Sparrow, the dog rescues the pretty girl Elizabeth (known as Sarah). However, Andrew certainly adds his style to the pretend game.
A great reason to have kiddos close together - the games are outrageous!
